MEMORY PROJECT

A research project to prevent and fight memory loss.

Memory is a research project encouraging an active and conscious involvement of people on how memory works and how it changes over time. Using your tablet you can make a short tour about the characteristics of human memory and then, if necessary, discussing the results with your family doctor or with a neurologist. Need Institute is a no profit Foundation. Our main objective is to improve well-being of patients suffering from neurological diseases.

We wish to get people to focus on the importance of prevention of diseases involving memory, this is why we created  Memory.

PLACE4CARERS PROJECT

Place4Carers is a project that aims to co-create, develop and implement an innovative service aimed at caregivers (those who take care) of elderly patients living in rural areas for the purpose of increase social inclusion psycological and physical well-being of patients and their families.
The project intends to identify the specifications peculiar characteristics of the population of Val Camonica in terms of caregiving dynamics (specific needs, problems, etc) end, secondly, to device targeted, sustainable and effective solutions.

Place4Carers è un progetto che si propone di co-creare, sviluppare ed implementare un servizio innovativo rivolto ai caregiver (coloro che si prendono cura) di pazienti anziani abitanti in zone rurali allo scopo di incrementare l’inclusione sociale ed il benessere psicologico e fisico sia dei pazienti che dei loro familiari. Il progetto intende in primo luogo identificare le specifiche caratteristiche peculiari della popolazione della Val Camonica in termini di dinamiche di caregiving (specifiche necessità, problematiche ecc.) ed in secondo luogo, ideare soluzioni mirate, sostenibili ed efficaci.

BRAIN ART PROJECT

Brain Art is an interregional project between Italy and Swiss. It proposes an innovative approach to the treatment of patients affected by neurological diseases, in order to promote their social inclusion using technologies applicable in both artistic and neurological field. The development of technological instruments to be used in clinical field for rehabilitation, stimulation and maintenance of cognitive abilities, as well as to make easily available art installations and cultural spaces, such as museums, to people suffering from mental diseases in order to reduce social stigma affecting people with mental health problems.
